PAVE Recognizes Young Talent
Young retail visionaries are recognized annually by the industry's educational foundation.The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) calls for nominations for its sixth annual Rising Star Award to recognize individuals who have demonstrated talent, vision, and implementation in the retail environment.
Rising Stars are the up and coming leaders in the retail environments industry. To be a leader in retail design and visual merchandising, an individual must be an original thinker. But talent alone will only get you just so far. To truly be a star requires the ability to anticipate the client's needs, motivate a team, transform the simple into the extraordinary, and inspire the consumer.
Honor Rising Industry Talent
Retailers, designers, and industry suppliers are invited to nominate individuals who have shown great talent in implementing visions for their own companies or clients.
This free award program seeks nominees are designers, visual merchandisers, store planners, and project managers who are proven visionaries, innovators, and leaders among peers. The nominee can be a member of the retail organization, a retail designer, or an industry supplier. Nominees must be 40 years of age or younger as of December 2012.
Finalists will be recognized and the winner presented with the award during the PAVE Gala, Dec 5, 2012, at Cipriani Wall Street, New York City. See the PAVE website for details.

To encourage study in the field of retail design and planning and visual merchandising, PAVE also has two competitions for college students.
