One Bloor Sales Centre Toronto
Conceived as a space-within-a-space that has minimal contact with the existing building envelope, the sales centre showcases the ambiance and array of forms of the planned condominium. The temporary space features organic elements inspired by the curvilinear architecture and interior design of the future condominium. A model suite and amenities gallery was jettisoned in favor of computer-generated ones in virtual space, conserving limited square footage. The interactive Virtual Wall recreates the future condo’s interiors at near-life scale and an interactive virtual pond evokes the spa-like interiors. High quality finishes and fittings are used to target theproject‘s demographics, including an organic, embossed-leather custom sofa in the reception area; the spun-metal, bronze-finished support columns in the Model Display Gallery; and the faux-leather and glass-mosaic-clad curved partitions and drop ceilings.

ING Direct Café Toronto
This outpost for the ING brand was created to provide a place to connect with clients for one-on-one meetings while providing clients with a place to learn about new products and services and access accounts online. In addition to its meeting space, the café is both an office and retail space spread over two floors and 7,500 square feet. ATMs in the front vestibule are the only obvious elements of the bank; there are no tellers or spaces to keep customers from interacting with employees. An apothecary café, communal work stations, a mini-theater, and other meeting areas feature the bold ING corporate orange sparingly as an undercurrent in a simple space filled with reclaimed wood, digital screens, chalkboards, and glass set on sand-colored porcelain tile flooring.
